These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of K-9 Handler Academy, operated by Sophos Solutions Lab, Inc. By using our app, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the Service

K-9 Handler Academy provides AI-powered dog training coaching and educational content. You may use the service for personal, non-commercial dog training purposes. You must be at least 13 years old to use this service.

2. Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

3. Subscriptions and Payments

K-9 Handler Academy offers free and paid subscription tiers, each providing access to AI-powered coaching and analysis features:

• Free: Limited access to AI coaching and AI analysis features
• Pro: Increased AI coaching and AI analysis quotas
• Elite: Higher AI coaching and AI analysis quotas, including advanced video analysis
• Founder: Founding-member pricing with Elite-equivalent AI coaching and analysis quotas

All subscription tiers are subject to monthly usage limits as described in the app. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Cancellation and refund policies are governed by the respective platform's terms. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

4. AI Coaching Disclaimer

The K-9 Coach AI provides general dog training guidance based on established training methodologies. This guidance:

• Is for educational and informational purposes only
• Does not replace professional in-person training advice
• Should be applied using your own judgment and knowledge of your dog
• Cannot account for all individual dog behaviors or circumstances

Always prioritize your safety and your dog's wellbeing. If your dog displays dangerous behavior, consult a professional trainer or veterinarian.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal or harmful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer or circumvent usage limits
• Share account credentials with others
• Submit false or misleading training information
• Use the AI coaching to promote animal abuse or harmful training methods

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of K-9 Handler Academy — including course content, AI responses, and the Dr. Dmitry methodology as implemented in the app — are owned by Sophos Solutions Lab, Inc. and are protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

Sophos Solutions Lab, Inc. is not liable for any injuries to you, other people, or animals that result from applying training advice received through K-9 Handler Academy. Use all training techniques at your own discretion and risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to this service is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings or by contacting us.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify you of material changes by email.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
